George C. Pantelakos, M.D.

George C. Pantelakos, M.D. is a board certified physician. Originally from Fayetteville, he finished his training at Riverside Hospital-Medical College of Virginia before opening Highland Family Practice P.A. His clinical experience includes over 21 years and greater than 100,000 patient encounters. He has been selected as Best Physician in the Readers' Choice Awards given by the Fayetteville Observer. He has served as Chief of Medicine at Highsmith-Rainy Hospital, President of the Cumberland County Medical Society and as a board member of the Sandhill's Physician's Organization. Dr. Pantelakos and his wife, Carol Ann, live in the Fayetteville area. They have two children, Alex and Julie. When he is not on call, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending the Greek Orthodox church, fishing, hunting, golf, reading, and photography.

Brenda Booth, APRN-C

Brenda joined our team in 2005, with an educational background to impress. She has a master's degree in psychiatric-mental health nursing from the University of South Carolina and a post-masters certificate of completion as an adult nurse practitioner from Duke University. With a special interest in the management of diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia; the medical management of mood disorders and support for living with chronic diseases she brings compassion and education to the forefront of our practice. Certified as an Adult Nurse Practioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, and the North Carolina Nurses Association round out her qualifications.

Supporting Staff

Our staff is completed by our wonderful supporting staff, with whom we could not provide the level of service to our patients day in and day out. Our medical staff exists as a cohesive unit where each member is vital and instrumental to the services we provide every day.
